Benefits for customer and producer

Right now we are getting 16-18 free-range eggs per day. Egg colors range from green and blue, into pastel whites and deep rich browns. They are very popular, we have no trouble selling, trading and giving them away! We sell a lot of eggs through the local Hardware store. Friends are a good source of loyal customers too. Some people have a simple stand or box on the road side. Others have experimented with some sort of subscribed sales program. Once people know you have eggs, and especially after they taste them, finding an outlet for your surplus eggs is simple, and it can be done under almost any simple format you can imagine or want to implement.

One obvious benefit is that your chickens can buy all or most of their feed under such a scheme. Another benefit is the good high quality food that you can produce and distribute locally
